Our family of 7 had a most comfortable and enjoyable stay at Avocado Grove Guest House. The facilities are A++++, with everything we needed for self catering provided with luxurious finishes.

The fact that the guest house is not run in the "traditional" guest house format and rather as self-catering was perfect for us as we could prepare our meals and enjoy relaxing at our leisure without anyone being around.

For those who prefer the B&B option I believe arrangements are flexible in accordance with guests' needs.

There is currently no swimming pool - which would have served us well during the hot summer days - but I believe one will be sunk soon, which will definitely enhance and add to the pleasure of time out on the verandah ...

I highly recommend Avocado Grove Guest House to prospective visitors - you certainly won't regret your choice!

Our family stayed here just for a few nights in between soccer games duriing the World Cup. Had I known what a lovely spot this was we would have stayed longer. The rooms were spacious, looked brand new, and had all the modern amenities. We had no problems with the variuous equipment, and the grounds were quite enormous for just a family of 4! A very nicely appointed property.

Spent a wonderful day at avocade Grove, was welcomed on arrival, room with lovely view over garden, luxurious bathroom, bedroom very stylishly decorated and ultra-comfortable. Delicious breakfast next morning, plenty of space to chill out. Will definitely be back

Avocado Grove was our base throughout our two week stay and it proved to be an excellent hub for the many activities and sights nearby, particularly the Kruger Park - which was so impressive we visited twice!

The property is in a quiet residential area and it is just a short drive to White River to pick up supplies.

The accommodation at avocado Grove is second to none - very spacious, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are very comfortably furnished with luxurious ensuite bathrooms. The way the living areas are laid out means that teenagers could have their own space to chill out away from the 'grown ups' (or vice versa!)

The facilities for self-catering were excellent - a well fitted luxury kitchen, and of course the essential 'braai' from which we enjoyed numerous hearty barbecues. We also were able to try avocados fresh from the tree in the garden! The hosts ensured there were some basics in the fridge for our arrival - which was really appreciated after our long flight from the UK.

We had an excellent stay at avocado Grove and would recommend it as the perfect base for any large family group considering a long distance trip to this part of South africa.

The accommodation and welcome we received was lovely, perfect. House is beautiful, well furnished, lots of space, we could not believe our luck to have it all to ourselves for two nights.
The small touches – fruit (esp the avocados from the small tree) left in the kitchen and the table set for breakfast was the cherry on top. I would recommend Avocado Grove to all. Thank you.

We have just returned home after having stayed in your guest house in Whiteriver for a few days.

I must compliment you on a beautiful guest house. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, well equipped with all the comforts of ones own home. It is also convenient for all the attractions in that area.

The coffee, biscuits, milk, fruit etc made it even more special. Extra touches are important. I will recommended to anyone looking for accommodation in that area and my husband and I will definitely stay there in the future. We love to go to that area at least twice a year. We also received a pleasant welcome from Karin.

This is the most incredible self catering property that I've ever stayed in. The house is always in immaculate condition and the fixtures and fittings are of the highest standard. We use the house 2 - 3 times a year and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to the White River area.
